The College Hill Sport saddles listed in this section are new/old "deadstock" that have been stored in a warehouse of a defunct shoe store chain. We were able to aquire a wide selection of sizes, but we are limited to stock on hand. We have not been able to determine who manufactured saddles under the name of College Hill Sports, but have reason to believe that it may have been Spalding, the originators of the style. We have also included some of our newly produced styles that are patterned after classic styles available during the 1950s. Some might call these reproductions. They are all of comparable or superior quality to the originals. Are they really reproductions if the manufacturer has been making saddle shoes since the 1920s???

Classic dark brown and white with a white hard rubber sole and a seperate heel. This shoe was a staple in the 1940s and early 50s. SLINGBACK SADDLES WITH A DATEBUCKLE. Also know as the "bubble" saddle was the rage from the mid 1950s til the early 60s. This was the ULTIMATE saddle shoe style of the time. Due to the scarcity of old stock in this style MUFFY'S has had this reproduced in buttery soft full grain leather with a black crepe sole. Wonderfully comfortable!
